Jacqueline X. Cane

Ms. Cane studied undergraduate sciences at McGill University and volunteered with an NGO in southeast Asia before entering the University of Calgary Law School in 1997. She attended MacQuarrie University in Sydney, Australia (2000) on a research exchange focusing on Aboriginal Law and Human Rights. Since being called to the bar in British Columbia in 2001, Ms. Cane has practiced personal injury law exclusively and has acted solely on behalf of injured British Columbians. She has appeared in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on both jury and judge alone trials.

Ms. Cane has served 10 years on the executive of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and has been an invited speaker or chairperson at various continuing legal education seminars. Ms. Cane's interests outside the practice of law include family, meditation and gardening.
